This is an exciting opportunity to work within the Group Business Services (GBS) Operations Team. You will oversee the day to day delivery across a range of operational HR processes and support to our employee’s across multiple geographies and businesses.
You will also be responsible for overseeing the implementation and delivery of HR Shared Services across Centrica by monitoring existing ways of working, identifying process improvements and establishing innovative new ways of working. In addition, the role is responsible for ensuring HR operational processes are efficient, compliant and accessible to employees.
We're looking for someone with previous line management experience and a willingness to learn and develop. A background in HR would be advantageous, but not essential.
Location: Ideally Leeds or Leicester (if not be within a commutable distance)

Accountabilities
Agree objectives with Director, HR Operations and set clear and measurable objectives for the HR Operations team
Monitor processes under control and report on the status
Schedule and Prioritise work for the Operations Team on a daily basis
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements
Monitor key HR metrics, and intervene as required
Consult with broader HR and business stakeholders on both data and perception of HR operations
Provide leadership and motivation for the HR Operations Team to achieve their goals in shared service delivery
Support HR Management with any additional activities required
Ensure all agreed deadlines, SLAs and KPIs are met
Competencies
Experience of managing people in a complex matrix organisation
Process improvement experience desirable
Able to analyse large amounts of data to create understandable reports
Understanding of the changing landscape of HR technology and how it can be utilised to drive efficiency
Technically competent in using appropriate functionality in the following Microsoft Office tools to support and execute the job requirements:

Excel
PowerPoint
SharePoint
Able to plan and organise the work of themselves and others to ensure the achievement of targets and outcomes
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to confidently engage with others
Strong written and verbal skills
Possess good creative skills and make suggestions for improvement
Must be able to work under pressure and to constantly changing deadlines
Must be pro-active and self-motivated
Work Experience
Line management experience is essential
Several years’ experience managing systems or process implementation/improvement projects, ideally in an HR environment
Expertise in process improvement (e.g Six Sigma)
Knowledge of HR operations, process and systems desirable
Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
