Your day to day

As the Executive, Global Operations Support, reporting to the Director of Global Operations Support you will co-ordinate and manage delivery and analytical activities required to support the Global Operations Support team. The candidate will work across multiple projects and programmes following the Hotel Ready process, supporting the efficient delivery of initiatives and projects. You will ensure communication across the team and provide formal updates of progress to your manager and colleagues.

Key Accountabilities

  • Work with a diverse group of stakeholders, focusing on the delivery of global projects and initiatives into our hotels and coordinating alignment across the regional operations teams.
  • Liaise with operators in the region and the teams running global projects
  • Support project teams complete all relevant ‘Hotel Ready’ documentation including giving guidance on how best to document their projects for corporate operational team’s and hotel audiences.
  • Own the Global Operations calendar (which shows the timing of all projects into hotels), making sure it is up to date and regularly distributed to the regions.
  • Own the administration tasks of the Operation Excellence Community meeting, including management of Excel-based trackers and PowerPoint decks.
  • Own and maintain the hotel pilot tracker.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to regular operations meetings
  • Identify areas of opportunity to drive performance through analysis, seeking a clear understanding of the root cause while offering recommended solutions.

What we need from you

Whilst we love experience, mindset is of equal importance. We’re looking for someone who has the ability to think beyond what's been done before. Someone with a real can-do attitude, an eye for detail and the ability to combine creativity and commercial rigor.

Experience

  • While not strictly necessary, it would be an advantage if you have previous project management experience, an understanding of branded service delivery or previous operational hotel experience.

Technical Skills and Knowledge

  • Demonstrate strong administrative and analytical skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • While not strictly necessary language skills and cultural awareness essential for effective multi-country communications
