OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Due to expansion we are currently looking to recruit an Office Administrator to join us.

The Dental Law Partnership are a Nationwide Dental Claim Specialists with offices in Nantwich, Cheshire and London. We represent patients in the majority of the dental negligence claims brought in England and Wales today. As a Legal 500 recommended firm, we are market leaders in our field with over 20 years' experience.

Our Nantwich Office is looking to recruit an Office Administrator to work with our team of highly skilled professionals and dental negligence specialists.

Purpose of role: To provide high-quality administration assistance to the firm and all of its Directors/fee earners and working with other support staff where necessary.

General workload:

Assisting with post as follows:

opening

scanning

putting up - once signed all letters/parcels given to you for you for franking in readiness for collection by Royal Mail at 5:00pm

Maintaining files are in good order so that they are complete and easily traceable.

Photocopying as and when required

Ensuring printers are stocked with paper

Monitoring stationery supplies and ordering the same

Passing all incoming post to relevant fee earner

Reception

Any other duties as may be directed

Undertaking training as required to maintain competence in the role

Office Systems

Have knowledge of and comply with all applicable office procedures as defined in the Employee Handbook and Case Management Manual and to be able to use the following office equipment:

Telephone system

The firm's Case Management System and Microsoft Word

Printers

Photocopier

Franking Machine

Skills and Personal Characteristics Required:

Ability to maintain good communications with Directors, all fee earners and support staff

Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing

Have a good telephone manner

Ability to work under pressure

Willing to comply with or suggest improvements to the firm's procedures

Be computer literate and have knowledge of software applications

Have patience and a sense of humour

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, ambitious and well organised. You must be a good team player with the ability to provide excellent service standards to clients.

We offer:
20 days holiday per year plus Bank Holidays and Christmas closure; after 2 complete years, an increase in annual leave up to a maximum of 25 days plus Bank Holidays and Christmas closure; after 10 complete years, an increase in annual leave up to a maximum of 30 days, plus Bank holidays and Christmas closure

Salary: £19,000 per annum
