Job Description

The Early Pregnancy Unit is a very busy nurse-led outpatient clinic environment which has the remit to assess and advise women with complications arising in early pregnancy to 19+6 weeks pregnant and Gynaecological assessments.

The service works closely with the other outpatient and inpatient areas and the Emergency Department within the multi-professional team.
We are looking for a part time (30 hours), flexible employee who can support a service which is currently available to patients between 8.30am - 7pm; currently Monday to Saturday however extended opening may be required in the future.

This demanding role is a trainee post and on completion of competencies will become a Band 6. There will be opportunity for in house training to develop a range of nursing and assessment skills and requires attention to detail, outstanding service skills and a positive, patient-centred flexible approach.
