Nurse Assessor

What your role will entail:

Undertake clinical assessments for claimants who are making a claim for the Personal Independence Payment (PIP)
Observing and reporting on an individual’s ability to carry out activities
Analysing and interpreting clinical information and supporting evidence
Creating three comprehensive reports on the evidence gathered each day
Ensuring enough detail, evidence and justification are given to support the DfC in making decisions
Developing your clinical knowledge
Take ownership of any feedback to aid own personal and professional development

A competitive basic salary of £34,000, rising to £35,000 (Pro rata) with 10% bonus

Requirements:

One full year of post-registration experience as a nurse, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or paramedic
Fully registered with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC or other), without restriction or conditions and with a valid PIN
Excellent observational and communication skills, giving you the ability to listen, empathise and dig deeper
