Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Naval Architect to join a leading independent engineering consultancy. The ideal candidate will have expertise in mooring, hydrodynamics and stability, as well as experience in designing and analyzing offshore structures including FPSOs.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and analyze vessels, offshore structures, and mooring systems
  • Perform hydrodynamic and stability calculations
  • Support team and offer guidance to the engineering team
  • Support with Project Engineering and Project Management
  • Develop and maintain design standards and guidelines
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Naval Architecture or a related field
  • Strong experience in mooring, hydrodynamics and stability analysis
  • Proficiency in using industry-standard software for design and analysis e.g. Orcaflex
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
