B5 Occupational Therapy Rotation in Mental Health

Would you like to join a mental health rotation in a busy acute hospital working alongside an established team of senior occupational therapists? This post provides the opportunity to develop your professional skills and knowledge with a range of client groups in a supportive and challenging context.

The post holders for these jobs will thrive in a busy clinical setting, enjoy team working and be good at managing change. They will advocate for and promote the occupational lives of their patients and will be compassionate towards themselves and those they work with.

The post holder will join the rotation which rotates 6 monthly between:

  • Chine Ward, St. Ann's (Female treatment)
  • Harbour ward, St. Ann's (Male treatment)
  • Alumhurst ward, St. Ann's (Non- Organic Older People' Mental Health)
  • Haven Ward, St. Ann's Psychiatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
