Job Description
The postholder will:
Supporting the Engineering Management in the safe operation and maintenance of all plant, equipment and installations within the Trust estate, establishing efficient and effective teams with high performance standards
The role is a combination of management of maintenance and hands on maintenance.
Mechanical & Electrical Chargehand
Supervisors/managers direct labour force and contractors
- The day to day management of maintenance craft and technical staff within the engineering team
- Planning and distribution of the workload for the respective craftsmen and technicians, ensuring that work is completed to schedule and the system updated accordingly
- Ensuring a safe working environment and safe systems of work are followed
