Job Description


As Managing Partner, you are one of the most senior individuals within the agency. You are responsible for undertaking an important client facing and commercial role.

This position is responsible for running their own portfolio and meeting revenue and margin targets as well as leading the vision with the management team. You are an ambassador for the Spark brand and a major contributor in helping to shape the culture of the teams that work in the agency.

With our clients, your role is helping them understand how Spark can help create competitive advantage for the business. Specifically, you will take responsibility for client satisfaction, quality of service and making sure that all the work we do for our clients is delivered on time and in budget.

You will be working with our best and brightest in Spark Foundry and the media industry’s rising stars. Our clients have a start-up mentality and appreciate someone who can think on their feet, make sound recommendations for both brand building and tactical campaigns and who has an appetite for experimentation and innovation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead your team in owning the day to day client relationship
  • Ensure that all the work we deliver is of high quality and on time/to budget
  • Stay on top of what your client’s competitors are doing and share insights with the client/agency teams
  • Own your projects from concept to end of project review – including collating results, writing case studies and sharing learning’s with client/agency teams
  • Take responsibility for commercial management of your account(s), including accurate forecasting on a weekly basis
  • Ensure the team is delivering to objectives and offering mentorship and development to team members

Qualifications


We are looking for:

  • Someone with experience as a Senior Business Director, Client Lead or Managing Partner with demonstrable experience in successful leadership roles.
  • Demonstrable media planning experience, who is digitally proficient and actively engaged with popular culture and tech.
  • Experience within the retail category is advantageous
  • Strategic superpowers are essential and will come into play whilst talking to senior leaders in multiple business areas and leading them to greatness.
  • Appreciation of data and how insight can be used to help drive our clients’ businesses, particularly in driving and demonstrating effectiveness
  • Experience in writing strategic proposals in answer to client briefs to help define strategic roadmaps or transformation activity
  • Ability to establish senior client relationships
  • Ability to effectively lead other subject matter experts and complex operational issues
