Are you a recent graduate / AAT studier (or equivalent)? With hands-on experience of accounts payable, receivable and supporting at month-end? Seeking a varied month-end focused Junior Management Accountant role? As a result of double digit growth, we are working in partnership with a multi-award winning sports marketing agency who are on the search for an ambitious accounts professional to join them as Junior Management Accountant. Reporting into the Finance Manager, the role will be supporting on the variance aspects of finance including: Accounts Payable, Expenses, Credit Cards, Sales Ledger, Month-end, Journal postings plus much more! Type: Full time, permanent Location: London Package: £26,000 - £30,000 (plus study support - ACCA/CIMA)

The role of Junior Management Accountant will work closely with the Finance Manager and CFO to support and manage the purchase ledger function, assist with processing all bank transactions in addition to assistance with the month-end preparation and analysis.

Further responsibilities include:

• Accurately code and process supplier invoices (Billable and General Ledger)
• Reconciliation of supplier statements
• Processing team expenses
• Update Client files with all new budget and billing information
• Assistance with the month end bank reconciliations
• Assist with adjustment journals

Ideal candidates will be educated to either degree level (numerical degree) or taken the AAT route of study. You will ideally have at least 9-12 months hands-on accounting experience with a desire to become a chartered (ACCA/CIMA) accountant. You will be approachable, hard-working and thrive in a fast-paced and creative working environment. Ideally you will have an interest in sports, though this is not required. Knowledge of Paprika or Xero (desirable) in addition to intermediate MS Excel skills.
