Antenatally, you will be required to run the one stop preterm birth service and a high-risk antenatal clinic focussing on hypertensive disorders and fetal growth restriction in pregnancy. The referral criteria for this clinic can be amended based on the postholders experience.
In gynaecology, you will be required to share the general and acute gynaecology referrals. Skills with procedures such as outpatient hysteroscopy, in patient minor gynaecological procedures will complement the services within the department.
Labour ward, management of high-risk pregnancies and complex obstetrics theatre list. Contribution of care, to both inpatient and outpatient service is required. Willingness to work flexibly and to adapt to the changing needs of the service is essential.
Participate in the supervision and training of under-graduate and post-graduate trainees.
