We are seeking to appoint a passionate and ambitious Leisure Club Manager who is a team player looking for a challenging role
The Leisure Club Manager Role and Responsibilities :
· Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Leisure Club delivering an outstanding Leisure Club experience for our members and hotel guests
· Managing a team of a Leisure Supervisor and Leisure attendants and a team of Beauty Therapists in the future
· Ensuring the health, safety and welfare of our guests and members is of paramount importance, adhering to health and safety compliance at all times
· Understands the impact of the department’s operations on the overall property financial goals and objectives and manages to achieve or exceed budgeted goals
· Management of Core Premiere System (Leisure Admin System)
· Rota employees to business demands and tracks employee time and attendance
· Carrying out staff training and development using on the job training providing follow up training as necessary
· Assisting guests throughout their stay in a friendly and professional manner, responding to guest problems and complaints, participating in the implementation of corrective action to improve guest satisfaction, empowering employees to provide excellent customer service
· Supports and supervises an effective cleanliness inspection regime
· Communicates areas that need attention to staff and follows up to ensure understanding
· Supervises daily Leisure shift operations and ensures compliance with all Leisure policies, procedures and standards of operations
· Duty Manager shifts as required
· This is a full time role working 5 days over 7 including weekends and bank holidays
The Person :
· Excellent organisational and time management skills with an eye for detail and the ability to use own initiative
· Ability to work under pressure maintaining a positive can do attitude
· Highly motivated with a drive to succeed and be the best
· Excellent decision making and influencing skills
It would be advantageous in this position to demonstrate the following skills and attributes
· 3-5 years of Hotel Leisure Club Management experience
· First Aid and Pool Plant Certificates
· Has a proven ability to drive a team to meet targets, with experience in a sales culture, comfortable in a sales role
