Leisure & Spa Manager at the Esprit Wellness & Spa , Reading

We are looking for an experienced and committed Leisure & Spa Manager for our exceptional Esprit Wellness & Spa at the 4 Silver Star new Crowne Plaza Reading East Hotel & Spa ( M4 Jct 10)

The Place

A brand new branded 4 silver star Crowne Plaza Hotel & Spa with 174 rooms, 2AA rosette restaurant, Monty’s bar lounge, Crowne Plaza conference centre and superb Esprit Wellness & spa.

You need to have a professional & friendly approach, be able build a good rapport with our Leisure & Spa team, leisure members and spa and hotel guests, and be passionate about the beauty and wellness industry.

With a large Life Fitness Gym, 5 luxury treatment rooms and a steam room, sauna, and 19m indoor pool with sun loungers/ relaxation area, the Leisure Club Manager will oversee the day to day running of our Wellness & Spa facilities.

The role of the Leisure & Spa Manager

You will be required to ensure the team maintain high standards and deliver treatments of the highest quality whilst maximising revenue and retail sales and retaining our regular client base.

The role will involve managing all aspects of the Spa and Leisure including finance, training, promotions and performance management to ensure the team consistently achieves their KPI's.

The successful applicant will ideally have a minimum of 2 years’ experience at a Spa manager or Leisure Club Manager. Pool plant/ Pool responder certification and massage qualifications would be preferred.

You will work 45 hours over 5 days including weekends and duty management shifts.

As an ambassador of our Hotel and Spa you will need to have a professional & friendly approach, be able build a good rapport with our Spa team, leisure members and spa and hotel guests, and be passionate about the beauty and wellness industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £28,000.00-£30,000.00 per year

Education:

• Diploma of Higher Education (preferred)

Experience:

• leisure or spa: 2 years (preferred)
• Supervising experience: 1 year (preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
• Retail management: 1 year (preferred)
• Management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
