What's the role about

As part of our Studio team, you will capture realistic, high quality imagery of Reiss clothing and non-clothing products according to brand guidelines and creative direction, and lead both studios, and both photographers who will report directly to you.

Who you are

• Exceptional skills in model and still-life photography, assertive and constructive approach in directing models on set.
• Proven experience in digital photography in a commercial studio environment.
• Graduate or similar in a Visual Arts related degree, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of color correction and exposure.
• Ability to work well under pressure and achieve deadlines.
  
• Detail oriented and creative, proactive and able to take initiative.
• Exceptional technical knowledge, and advanced knowledge of Capture One.
• Ability to work well within a team and individually.
• Offer solutions to the studio and wider business.

What you'll be doing

• Produce high quality and consistently beautiful images.
• Image selection; working with on-set team to choose images that comply with the Style Guide.
• Prepare sets, checking that all equipment is functioning, setting up appropriate lighting and keeping accurate daily shoot records providing assistance to other team members where needed.
• Accurately name and archive digital asset files, crop and process images, maintaining file size specification guidelines.
• Make improvements to photography workflow, improving efficiency, coordinating tests and presenting ideas.
• Taking care and upkeep of all studio equipment, props and supplies.
  
• Be the point of contact for photography team, regularly advise and mentor photographers.
• Highlighting any inconsistencies or errors, flagging any reshoots or retouch amends.
• Delegating responsibilities to other team members to ensure that all deadlines and targets are able to be met.
