Here at QAHE (Sales) we’re looking for a fabulous International Officer(China, UK and East Asia)

The main aspects of this exciting role are:

The primary purpose of this role is to work with our Agents to recruit Students from the China and East Asia market into to our award-winning University programmes, and to develop and manage the sales channels across the region for Degree courses, delivering against the recruitment targets across all recruitment channels, including agent, direct and partner.

  • Ensure a coherent and effective approach to market that supports positive brand and business development
  • Produce, deliver and manage the International recruitment strategy within a defined region
  • Manage performance against target of enrolled students through an effective network of channels.
  • Work closely with the wider marketing and recruitment team, including admissions and marketing, ensuring coherent and sector leading approach
  • Contribute to the wider business through sharing of best practice and engagement
  • Research and operationalise an effective marketing and recruitment plan to ensure all targets are met, our brand is enhanced, and entry requirements are adhered to
  • Develop knowledge, understanding for Chinese and UK education system and market
  • Develop strong, long term relationships with representatives and key personnel within the China and East Asia market

About You:

This role would be a great fit if you’re fluent in Mandarin, both written and orally, and you have experience in the Chinese Education System.
There’s also a requirement to travel maybe a couple of times a year to Malaysia, Hong Kong and SE Asia. There’ll also be the need to travel throughout the UK if the need arises.

  • Commercially focussed
  • High proficiency in both English and Mandarin – written and verbal
  • Must have experience recruiting international students from East Asia market into the UK
  • Skilled negotiator
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong customer focus, committed to ensuring delivery of excellent service standards
  • Highly driven and motivated
  • Ability to get a large team to work collaboratively towards targets
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage a diverse workload
