Job Description


AECOM has an immediate requirement for a Project Manager to join our Civil Infrastructure Water and Wastewater team in Belfast. The team are looking for a Project Manager to lead various projects from engagement through to completion and be accountable for all aspects of project delivery.

This unique role provides the opportunity to collaborate with asset planning teams and engage with leaders from multiple water and sewerage companies across UK and Ireland, contributing to existing knowledge-sharing and collaborative forums, which will to help develop your career.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Strategic health, safety and environmental management and leadership to drive the highest standards.
  • Deliver Projects within the agreed time, cost & quality requirements.
  • Manage in-house quality assurance procedures and drive quality control aspects during project delivery.
  • Work closely with Asset Planning teams to build delivery programmes and monitor progress.
  • Apply risk management techniques for projects.
  • Prepare progress reports for the management team.
  • Manage and guide project teams and work with the management team to ensure availability of suitably skilled resources at all times.

Qualifications


Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience in the full cycle of project delivery from inception to completion.
  • Sufficient experience to lead water and drainage infrastructure engineering projects.
  • Project Management qualification – or experience with NEC / FIDIC contracts.
  • Ability to liaise and engage with clients and key stakeholders.
  • Experience providing mentoring, guidance and technical advice to support and supervise junior staff.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Engineering degree qualified.
  • Chartered Engineer status (or approaching chartered status).
