This is a FTC opportunity until March 2024. Whilst this role is predominantly home-based, there is ad hoc travel required to collaborate with the team and connect with stakeholders. Being within a reasonable commute of one of our support offices (Nottingham or Whiteley) is preferred.


Your purpose

As a Resourcing Partner, you will be an advocate of Specsavers employer brand and inspire candidates to see their career at Specsavers. You’ll work with stakeholders across the business to attract, source and recruit talent to support business objectives, whilst delivering an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience that is reflective of Specsavers’ culture. Whilst you will provide support to all business areas when required, this role will be partnering with either our Finance & Legal hub or Retail Support.


Your role

  • Work with the wider HR team to understand the talent strategy and help develop functional resourcing plans that incorporate existing and future requirements, to support business growth and talent management
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment across a business area, owning the sourcing, selection and offer process and work with stakeholders to ensure excellent candidate experience
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders, providing recruitment best practice, market insight and trends to support the attraction and resourcing approach for specific business areas
  • Proactively source and talent pool candidates using direct sourcing channels from both active and passive routes, such as social networks, careers sites, advertising, employee and external referrals, networking, job boards and the use of our online recruitment system
  • Support hiring managers to increase confidence and skills to select the right candidate, using the correct processes, whilst giving an experience that reflects Specsavers’ culture and behaviours

What you’ll bring

  • Experience of recruiting in-house or agency across functions and levels, including responsibility for attracting and sourcing candidates, writing job ads, using direct sourcing methods including LinkedIn, CV databases, etc
  • Strong evidence of consistently building and maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships at all levels
  • Up-to-date insight into the recruitment market, what’s new, what’s coming and how external factors are contributing to and changing candidate needs and business challenges
  • Excellent track record in proactively seeking feedback and responding constructively to continually improve
  • Examples of how you’ve previously demonstrated our Specsavers behaviours
