PA Group part of the RSK Group are a multidisciplinary, health and safety executive licensed asbestos removal and UKAS-accredited asbestos inspection and testing contractor. Due to ongoing growth we have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Housing Contracts Manager to join our team in Dartford, Kent.

Responsibilities:

To a housing/small commercial based projects

• Coordinate Site Diaries
• Pre-Inspections to see what is required.
• Post Inspections to ensure works have been completed to a good standard
• Generating Method Statements & Risk Assessments
• Coordinating with Multi Traders/Reinstaters on a daily basis
• Occasionally undertaking reinstatement works however not essential.

Majority of works normally undertaken are:-

• New Plasterboard ceilings, any size
• New Plasterboard walls, on timber stud work.
• Bond and plaster concrete ceilings.
• Plaster onto plasterboard ceilings.
• Minor electrical, I.e light fittings/sockets
• Minor plumbing, I.e new toilet cisterns.
• Garage roofs to replace, new fascia, soffit and rain water goods.
• Carpentry, infill panels, new doors etc.
• Vinyl floor tiles, polysafe non slip flooring.
• Self levelling / latex

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous experience of general reinstatement and minor building works is essential.
• Supervisory experience on site works would be an advantage
• Full UK driving licence

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary up to £35,000 Depending on experience
• Company Van & Tools will be provided
• Hours are 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday with some Saturday hours.
