NHS Property Services are recruiting 2 Helpdesk Advisor's to join our team based in Stockport. The salary for this role £21,000-£23,000 per annum + 27 days holiday.

The hours are a varied shift pattern, working an 8 hour shift between the hours of 07:00 to 20:00 Monday to Friday, with 1 in 5 weekends working either 07:00 to 15:00 or 12:00-20:00. So you will need to be flexible for this role.

The role will be hybrid, with 4 days working from home and 1 day a week (Wednesdays) working in the office.

About the role

The Helpdesk Advisor will join the Facilities Management helpdesk which acts as a central function for our Customers and Operations teams.

You will be responsible for the end to end work flow processes for all facilities management (FM) issues reported by customers. Including the logging, allocation and updating of reactive service requests assigned to our FM Operations teams or contractor supply chain. The FM Helpdesk is one team operating within a wider Customer Service function.

You will be part of the frontline helpdesk service for our customers and the first point of contact for receiving and processing all customer FM related issues raised across our estate. Ensuring they are dealt with effectively, and in a timely and professional manner.

The key responsibility for this position will be to provide excellent level of customer service when handling requests and enquiries from customers with a ‘right first time’ approach when logging reactive service requests, enquiries, updates and ensure job information is captured accurately and the correct priority is assigned to a service requests based on health & safety, business impact and customer expectation.

To succeed, candidates must have knowledge of key MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as experience in a contact centre customer service role and experience working within a team.
