The Role
Are you looking for a better work life balance? Are you available for 12 to 37.5 hours per week? Do you want to help make a real difference to the community? Are you able to handle calls with a calm, professional and empathetic manner?
If this sounds like you, we are looking for Health Advisors to join our NHS 111 teams who deliver high quality care to our patients. This is a fantastic opportunity to start your career in the NHS 111 service with salaries starting at between £22,426 and £24,675 per annum (pro rata).
As a Health Advisor at IC24, you’re the first point of contact for our patients. When our patients dial 111, you’ll be the voice at the end of the line. It’ll be up to you to deliver sometimes life-changing advice; triaging a wide range of calls and providing safe, effective assessment and non-clinical advice using the NHS Pathways System. It can be tough, but you’ll join an experienced team of NHS 111 Health Advisors.
We provide full paid training and career development opportunities, a generous NHS pension and a competitive pay framework to progress through. This role will be based in our care-coordination centre in Norwich, Norfolk, for the first 6 months. A hybrid homeworking approach could be available if all criteria are met. So, if you’re patient focused, empathetic and up for a new challenge then we would love to hear from you!
To find out more, or if you would like a tour of the call centre before applying, please email – nick.hale@ic24.nhs.uk
