A Head of Supply Chain Development is required to undertake a key role in leading supply chain transformation initiatives, driving operational efficiency across a distribution network and ensuring timely delivery of products.

This will involve the identification and delivery of a number of projects across the end to end supply chain.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse existing supply chain processes and identify innovation opportunities
• Working with the Supply Chain Director, develop and implement supply chain transformation strategies that align with business goals and objectives.
• Act as a thought leader within the Supply Chain Leadership team, helping to foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, procurement, planning, and customer service, to drive supply chain optimisation and improve operational performance.
• Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain performance, and report progress against targets
• Manage and improve 3PL contracts, ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and continuous improvement in cost, quality, and service.
• Identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain

Skills & Experience:

• A blend of operational multi-site Supply Chain experience together with demonstrated experience of strategic initiatives being created and implemented.
• Previous experience of running efficiency or improvement programmes from initial conception through to completion
• Skilled in working with large sets of data, analysis and converting into easy to understand formats
• Experience in constructing and presenting business cases
