Head of Finance

Working in Chippenham a Head of Finance is required on a 6-month contract basis to work within a market-leading organisation.

Daily Rate: £500 - £570 per day

Location: 2 days a week in the office

Overview

• The Head of Finance Shared Service Centre (FSSC) will be responsible for managing a team of about c.50 colleagues, taking ownership of the finance shared service function and driving delivery of agreed SLA's, whilst also focusing on robust controls and continuous improvement.
• Overall responsibility for the processes - R2R, P2P, O2C and ensuring appropriate delivery of short- and long-term requirements consistent with Group objectives and deliverables
• Develop strong links with the wider finance community and other key stakeholders across the business sectors
• Deliver best practices and where necessary improve performance around key metrics, ensure processes are clearly documented and drive efficiencies through continuous improvement

Skills

• ACA or ACCA qualified
• Experience managing shared service functions and organisational change
• Oracle knowledge preferable
• Performance and strategy focussed
• Controls and reporting experience
• Analysing corporate financial challenges
• Creative and prepared to try new approaches
• Experience of coaching and developing staff, with a genuine interest in career development
• Positive attitude and commercially aware whilst looking to being new solutions to the business
