We are looking for a Head Housekeepers/Accommodation Managers to work for one of the largest and most successful leisure and holiday businesses in the UK. My client is widely recognised as being one of the very best employers to work for in the UK.

The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in heading up the housekeeping for a large volume hotel, resort or holiday park. This role is fast paced within a high pressure environment ensuring holiday homes are presented to the highest quality to create the 'home from home' experience their holiday makers have grown to expect.

With fantastic leadership skills, the Head Housekeeper will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping department, ensuring company standards are met and guests are provided with a positive, lasting impression.

The Job Role:

• To supervise the smooth and efficient operation of all housekeeping activities for up to 5000 guests.
• To manage the payroll, recruitment and training of all housekeeping team including deputy manager, supervisors and up to 80 cleaners.
• To ensure a smooth operation of the linen room within the park.
• To liaise regularly with the Maintenance Department with regard to room maintenance.
• Responsibility for the purchase of all cleaning materials and maintain adequate stocks whilst controlling expenditure in line with company budget.
• To be aware of and responsible for all contract cleaning

The Person

• Strong organisational and people management skills, self-motivated, enthusiastic and extremely customer focused.
• Previous experience within a similar role Basic knowledge of IT.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills.
