Holiday Inn South Normanton M1 Jct 28 is looking for an experienced Head Chef to join our Kitchen Team

A fantastic Hotel and Conference venue, boasting 163 bedrooms, 10 meeting rooms, Open Lobby Bar & Restaurant ample free car parking, situated on both Nottinghamshire & Derbyshire’s borders with easy access to the M1 and major links to the cities of both Nottingham and Derby.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate, enthusiastic ambitious Had Chef looking for a progressive and challenging role.

Our Head Chef will be required to lead our kitchen brigade and will have control in everything from food hygiene, stock control, training, resource planning, kitchen management and food preparation. You must be able to demonstrate your creativity and have a good knowledge and understanding of cost control.

The ideal Head Chef

• Has passion, creativity, imagination and inspiration
• Strong leadership skills combined with a team player attitude
• Highly structured and organised
• Level 3 or 4 food hygiene certificate

· Excellent organisational and time management skills with an eye for detail and the ability to use own initiative

· Ability to work under pressure maintaining a positive can do attitude

· Highly motivated with a drive to succeed and be the best

· Excellent decision making and influencing skills for the mo
