Group Finance Analyst - Fixed-Term

Are you an experienced financial analyst looking for an exciting opportunity to work on strategic projects with a leading multinational organization? We are seeking a Group Finance Analyst to join our team in Basingstoke on a fixed term contract with the possibility of extension based on project pipeline.

About the Role...

As a Group Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting our Group Finance team with internal and external reporting requirements as well as providing data support for strategic planning initiatives. You will work closely with our Group Head Of Financial Reporting, Planning & Analysis to deliver on key objectives such as supporting financial reporting delivery for upcoming strategic projects and using advanced Excel & macro’s to deliver ad hoc group-wide processes efficiently.

Your main responsibilities will include delivering strategic projects by providing analytics/data support through Excel & VBA capability, utilizing your excellent Excel modelling skills to present complex data in a clear, engaging and succinct manner. You will also be responsible for analysing large data sets to identify errors and extract business insights and have experience working with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) & Hyperion. Additionally, you should have experience of working in a multi-site, multi-country organisation and hold a recognised accountancy qualification with a minimum of 5 years PQE.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic team on high-profile projects within the Finance hub in Basingstoke. The contract is initially for 6 months, with a potential for extension.
