Our client, an award winning architectural practice, are currently seeking an enthusiastic Graphic Designer to join their expanding team in Romsey. The ideal Graphic Designer will have a strong eye for design but also an interest in architecture. The Graphic Designer, must also have excellent creative skills with a portfolio that highlights passion for design. The most suitable candidate should not be brand design or social media marketing focussed.

The successful Graphic Designer will have responsibility working closely with project leaders, Architectural and Urban Design teams working within a multi-disciplinary environment. The Graphic Designer's predominant role is to assist in the preparation in various presentation material, including plans, coloured drawings, documents, public exhibitions, and brochures.

The role requires a close working relationship with teams within the practice and requires somebody capable of driving forward with a positive, problem-solving attitude. The individual must be motivated and able to use their initiative.

Graphic Designer Position Overview

• Prepare various presentation material
• Produce drawings documents and brochures for the company to display to clients
• Produce high-quality graphics
• Generate ideas and concepts
• Work well as part of a larger Architectural and Urban Design team
• Supporting documents for planning applications
• Colouring of street scenes/house type elevations/site plans
• Brochures for clients
• Vision documents for consumers

Graphic Designer Position Requirements

• Ability to manage own work but to also work as part of a team, ask for help and share ideas
• High attention to detail and offer creative ideas with good graphic composition
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Live within a commutable distance of Romsey
• Excellent communication skills with team and other departments
• Advanced knowledge of the Adobe suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Keen interest in Architecture is an advantage but not essential
• Driving licence
• Experience in 3D rendering programmes desirable but not essential
• Minimum of 2 years' experience working in Graphic Design

Graphic Designer Position Remuneration

• Competitive salary £27,000 - £30,000 (DOE)
