A fantastic opportunity for a fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Group Accountant, to join a global manufacturing business based just outside of Huddersfield.

**This location is easily accesible from Elland, Linthwaite, Brighouse, Mirfield and Rochdale**

This role is newly created and will report directly to the newly appointed Group Finance Manager of this international manufacturing brand, who are a market leader across the world!

**The role would be ideally suited to someone with experience working at group level within a manufacturing business**

You will be a key member of the Group finance team, and be involved in all elements of Group reporting including the monthly financial close and management reporting process, the preparation, consolidation and analysis of the Group’s budget and forecasts, and ensuring strong financial controls are maintained across the Group.

Key duties will include:

• Assisting with the month-end consolidation of Group including several overseas subsidiaries
• Understanding and analysing subsidiaries’ P&L performance, balance sheets and cashflow movements
• Monitoring and reconciling of all inter-company accounts
• Preparing balance sheet reconciliation for Head Office companies
• Responsible for the compilation and consolidation of fortnightly forecasts for the Group, including presentation to the wider Group finance team
• Responsible for the compilation, consolidation and management of the Group’s annual budget process
• Assist with management, co-ordination and delivery of year-end Group statutory reporting
• Help manage external audit process
• Assist the internal audit process, as required
• Continuous maintenance of financial controls and suggesting and implementing improvements where needed
• Prepare and develop models for the Group forecasts and planning
• Working with SAP team on testing and development
• Mentoring and training Group Financial Analyst

The successful candidate will:

• Be fully CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualified – Essential
• Have previous experience working in audit in practice, or a group finance function in industry – Essential
• Have previous experience/knowledge of SAP – Essential
• Have previous experience working in the manufacturing sector - Essential
