Are you interested in changing the face of farming so that we can feed the world? If so we now need to recruit a Front End (Angular) Software Development Engineer.
You are a Front End Developer who can produce high quality solutions and have an attention to detail second to none. You have a deep understanding of cloud-based solutions including excellent security awareness. You are an Angular expert and seek the autonomy to build the right product in the right way. You want to work closely with the UI/UX team to refine and deliver the frontend our users deserve. You are comfortable in using .NET as the back for the RESTful API layer (and will be able to make minor changes). You have some cloud ops experience with a major provider (preferably Azure) and are comfortable with the latest deployment tools including Docker and K8s. And some python would not hurt. Key responsibilities will include:
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders and provide expertise as well as customer service to meet a wide variety of requirements
- Quickly provide insight and options to front-end challenges
- Collaborate with development teams to provide elegant, intuitive experience for users
- Contribute both technically and in an advisory role to projects
- Develop and manage extensible, stable code bases for a variety of applications
- Provide front-end architecture and aesthetic thought leadership
- Stay current with the fast-changing landscape of browser-based application development
- Evaluate frameworks, technology, platforms, and tooling solutions
- Support and troubleshoot issues (process & system), identify root cause, and proactively implement sustainable corrective actions
You are educated to degree calibre in a relevant IT / SW centric degree or highly experienced in front end software development. Key experience required includes:
- Strong understanding of the DOM, HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript (ES5 and ES2015+)and Considerable experience with Angular (8x-16).
- 3+ years of experience with additional web libraries and frameworks. Preferred: StencilJS, Flux/Redux, Immutable.js, Ionic Framework
- Experience with front-end tooling workflows: Node.js (NPM), Angular-CLI, Nx-CLI
- Experience testing JavaScript (Angular) code — Jasmine, Jest, Playwright, Puppeteer and Cypress preferred but not required.,
- Experience with Responsive Web Design (RWD) patterns
- Proven ability to create working prototypes (proof of concepts) at varying degrees of fidelity using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with unidirectional data flow patterns (Redux, etc.)and with RxJS or other Reactive programming techniques/libraries.
