FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative

£12.31p/h, HD5, 28 days leave, M-F, Training, Parking, Temp to perm, Immediate Start

MUST HAVE REACH AND COUNTERBALANCE LICENSES

MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK BOTH SHIFTS

Mornings- 6:00am- 2:00pm & Afternoons -2:00pm-10:00pm

Job Role

Due to continued success a Huddersfield site of a global manufacturer has an exciting opportunity for a FOrklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join them. You duties will include;

Receive goods at the loading/receiving area

Store received goods in the appropriate locations within the warehouse
Check loads for damaged or missing items upon receipt
Move and rearrange stock, either by hand or with appropriate lifting equipment
Ensuring accurate records of everything that comes in and goes out of the warehouse
Load goods onto trucks for shipping

Requirements

We would expect the successful FLT Driver / Warehouse Operative to be able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of Warehouse Procedures, be an excellent communicator and be able to follow instruction. You will be supported 1 to 1 to become familiar with the company processes and procedures. This would be an ideal role for you if you have worked as a Forklift Truck Driver, Dispatch or goods in / out previously.
