Currently recruiting a Group Financial Controller for a Global Consulting business on a 12 month contract basis. Based in London, this role will manage the day to day finances and support the continued growth of the business.
Reporting to the Finance Director, the role will be responsible for:
- Managing a large finance team
- Ensuring management accounts are prepared in line with Group accounting policy
- Ensuring all tax and other local filing requirements are met globally
- Assisting with integration of acquired entities including team integration and aligning all areas of finance
- Managing and reviewing internal monthly management accounts production
- Managing key relationships including banks and tax authorities
- Overseeing developing treasury strategies and banking control management
- Working with Group Accounting team and external Auditors to ensure smooth delivery of annual Audit
- Ad hoc tasks as required
The candidate:
- Qualified accountant
- Extensive technical accounting experience ideally gained in a large international business
- Working knowledge of IFRS
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to influence various stakeholders
- Team player with excellent organisational skills
- Advanced IT skills
