The ideal candidate would have experience in a similar role previously. My client is looking for someone who is eager to learn and develop their career.
As the Finance Controller you will be a crucial part of the team and will be working closely with the Manager, General Ledger Accountant and the international finance team.
The ideal person will have experience or understanding of the following:
- A Bachelor’s degree or similar, preferably with experience in the field of controlling
- Ideally, a recognized accounting qualification, or studying towards a qualification such as CIMA, ACCA, AAT
- Knowledge of product costing and typical controlling related technical terms
- Proficiency in Excel and exposure to SAP
- Prior controlling experience in a manufacturing environment
- Availability to travel occasionally
- Resilient and able to work well under pressure
- Excellent analytical skills
- Fast learner with a commitment to meeting deadlines
- Curious and willing to learn new things
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate in a structured and concise way
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships, as the holder will continuously communicate with the staff, the HQ, and the peers.
