We are looking for an FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team in either
Fort Lauderdale, or
London office. Reporting into the FP&A Manager. What makes this role unique is the key element of Business Intelligence / data analytics that will also be involved - so applicants with this experience will be preferred.
Your Responsibilities:
- Support Business Intelligence / data analytics within the FP&A team;
- Support implementation and maintenance of new FP&A / Finance tools into the business;
- Prepare, maintain and analyze financial models and data to give insight to the business and enable sound business planning and decision-making;
- Assist in the preparation of the monthly management reporting requirements, liaising with the BI team to understand data accuracy and address potential issues;
- Support the FP&A team with the preparation of the annual budgeting and reforecasting processes;
- Analyze current and past trends in KPIs including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditure for all the entities;
- Build appropriate and useful reporting deliverables;
- Create tables in Microsoft Sequel Server as needed and make sure those are updated;
- Help data experts maintain, create and retrieve information from relational databases;
- Ad-hoc analysis, research, and reports.
Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:
- Recognized degree or professional qualification in Accounting or Finance;
- Finance experience, preferably in commercial finance or FP&A;
- Advance level of Microsoft Excel, ability to manipulate large data sets and build finance models;
- Experience in developing procedures and scripts for data migration;
- Ability to develop, implement and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL;
- Tableau or other Business Intelligence / FP&A tool knowledge is a plus;
- A dynamic personality, flexible and committed during busy periods, with a can-do attitude;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to communicate constructively and effectively within a virtual team environment and with non-finance stakeholders;
- Ability to multi-task and work in a challenging fast paced environment;
- Ability to summarize data in clear analyses and presentations;
- Ethical, discrete with impeccable attention to detail and follow-through;
- Familiarity with SAP is an advantage.
