Reporting to the Senior Commercial Finance Manager, responsibilities will include:
- Understanding and building detailed knowledge of costs and drivers
- Establishing performance targets and assess performance against these across retail stores
- Preparing analysis of department KPIs and reporting
- Analysing periodic variances to budget/ prior year
- Preparing trading analysis to maximise delivery of profitable sales
- Providing support for decision making to various department heads
- Working with procurement to identify and influence opportunities to improve value for money
- Streamlining processes and reporting to make time efficiencies
- Ad hoc analysis as required
The candidate:
- Qualified accountant
- Solid technical accounting knowledge
- Commercially aware
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to build strong relationships across the business and influence various stakeholders
- Advanced IT skills
