Financial Operations Manager
Hull
£40-45k base + package

Our client is a leading payments technology company who are in the process of expanding their team in Hull. We are keen to find a Financial Operations Manager to join our business and lead a small team. As a new role within the company, you will have a great opportunity to mould the position as the company continues to scale. You will work closely with the financial accounting team to ensure processing is reconciled, merchant funding is completed daily and operational/back office tasks are completed in line with agreed service levels.

Key responsibilities:

  • manage our small financial operations & charge back team, ensuring the completion of all set daily/weekly/monthly tasks within service levels & regulatory timelines
  • improve, unify, create and develop successful processes for compliant dispute management
  • support wider finance team in daily reconciliations of processed transactions & ensure daily merchant funding is complete
  • monitor & respond to key metrics, ensuring the team is operating productively & in line with relevant KPI's

  • you are a great communicator & can act as the conduit between senior leaders, operational and commercial teams as required

Your skills:

  • ideally coming from a payments, cards, merchant services, acquiring, issuing or associated background from financial operations
  • good understanding of consumer credit, financial regulation frameworks or scheme rules
  • finance, reconciliation or accounting qualifications would be desirable
  • knowledge of chargebacks, dispute reconciliation and related processes

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
