Salary:
£26,396 to £32,348 per annum pro-rata depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

The project Information Officer will contribute to the smooth and efficient delivery of a range of activities for the Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTP).
This post is a co-ordination and support role for the Business & Local Partnerships Team focusing on project development, delivery and business engagement activities across the team.
Provide effective project management and delivery support to a number of Team projects, including the £4m portfolio of Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP)* projects including:
- Supporting Project Managers on existing projects, including back-up support for critical processes
- Financial management of 30+ projects and reporting to partners.
- Submitting claims monthly to tight deadlines to obtain grant funding payments.
- Reporting and management of stakeholder meetings including occasional external site visits
- Credit control of outstanding invoices to reduce debt.
- Understanding and applying in practice sponsor rules to ensure compliance with requirements.
- Delivery of claims and progress reports to Sponsors.
- Maintaining and using relevant Team databases.
- Liaison with other stakeholders to ensure projects progress to plan (HR, academic departments, external sponsors, business partners)
- Liaising with Innovate & Company partners to obtain project extensions, pausing projects and helping partners with cash flow issues due to Covid, which would have resulted in projects finishing early with a loss of grant income.
- Liaising with the Finance department to ensure Invoices are raised in a timely manner.
Providing effective administrative and co-ordination support to the KTP team. This includes;
- Management and co-ordination of diary commitments and stakeholder engagement meetings (internal and external).
- Supporting the production of Team reports and marketing materials (e.g. website, PowerPoint)
- Co-ordination and pro-active management of delivery against ad hoc assignments for the Head of Team.
- Support for the development of new projects and assignments.
- Co-ordinating a regular programme of Team meetings and wider internal networking.
