Job Description

The successful candidate will likely have the following responsibilities:

  • Responsible for preparation of monthly management accounts for relevant corporate companies including Trial Balance, Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, actual to budget variance analysis
  • Complete control of the General ledger, Cashbook and end-to-end Sales and Purchase ledger cycles
  • Reconciliation of multiple bank accounts and all Balance Sheet accounts, investigating aged items and preparation of appropriate schedules
  • Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register
  • Quarterly reporting to parent company for assigned companies
  • Raising invoices for both internal and external clients and correct recognition of revenue
  • Credit control for both internal and external clients including investigating aged items and taking actions to resolve issues
  • Assist in year end requirements and external audit processes
  • Ensuring compliance with agreed timetable for all corporate reporting
  • Assisting the Corporate Finance team with ad hoc duties as required

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will likely have the following profile:

  • Qualified by experience in relevant/similar role
  • Experience preparing accounts to Trial Balance Accountancy fundamentals
  • Knowledge of month end process
  • Microsoft packages, with advanced Excel
  • Problem solving
  • Responsive
