An amazing opportunity to join a London based, sports media business who partners with a number of prestigious sports teams and brands worldwide. To support their ongoing growth, they are seeking to strengthen their finance team by hiring a Finance Manager.
Reporting to the CFO, key responsibilities will cover financial operations, management accounting and financial reporting.
Key tasks of the Finance Manager will include:
- Producing accurate month-end accounts
- Managing budget and forecast process
- Providing proactive and insightful financial analysis
- Supervising accounts payable and receivable
- Maintaining accurate cash flow forecasts
- Overseeing day-to-day business approvals for expenses
- Preparing statutory accounts
- Ad hoc tasks as required
The candidate:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
- Strong all round technical accounting experience
- Experience of producing management accounts
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage various tasks in a fast paced environment
- Team player with a willingness to be “hands on”
- A keen interest in sports and social media
