Salary: Up to £45,000 depending on experience
Summary:
As a Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the warehouse in the cost effective delivery of facilities/maintenance services, with least disruption to site activities and always adhering to safe working practices. Your role will include examining corporate activities to determine where improvements can be made and ensuring compliance across the logistics organisation, specifically within the warehousing functions. The desirable candidate will have a keen eye for detail and strong numerical skills / financial awareness to assess budgetary activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the warehouse in the cost-effective planning and delivery of facilities/maintenance services
Sourcing and managing reactive maintenance providers to ensure all Legal & Safety compliance aspects are met
H&S Incident management and root cause investigation
Introduction of safety compliance audits ( spot & planned)
Manage supplier SLA’s, reviewing suppliers on a continuous basis to drive down costs
Key Skills/Experience:
At least 5 years’ experience managing facilities within a large scale environment, particularly within a warehouse / logistics operation
Previous project management experience
PC Literate in Microsoft software (outlook, excel, power point)
Numerate with strong budgetary & financial awareness
Knowledge / skills in legal compliance and risk management
Strong written & verbal communication skills
Continuous improvement mindset
