Job Description

Protocol Education are working with a school who are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Exams Officer to provide high levels of organisation and accurate delivery of exams. This role requires absolute accuracy and the use of highly organised systems at all times. You must be an excellent communicator and have exceptional administrative and organisational skills. Previous experience of working within a school environment would be an advantage and a genuine interest in working amongst young people is essential. Flexibility is crucial to meet the demands of a busy school as is the ability to build effective relationships with staff, governors and the whole school community.

About the role….

  • preparing examination timetables for students and staff
  • creating seating plans for each examination room
  • briefing candidates, staff and parents
  • receiving, checking and securely storing confidential examination materials
  • administering internal assessment
  • administration, attendance, reception cover
  • updating the SIMS school data base (training provided)
  • dealing with telephone calls and parent requests.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
