Prospectus is delighted to be supporting a leading provider of information, advice and support for anyone affected by gambling harms, in their search for a new Engagement Lead. This well-established organisation provides treatment for anyone who is harmed by gambling, creates awareness about safer gambling and treatment, and encourages an effective approach to safer gambling within the gambling industry.

As Engagement Lead for their newly funded programme, you will deliver quality, consistent and relevant gambling engagement and training to organisations working with those at risk of gambling harm across England, Scotland and Wales. The Programme covers several sectors: debt advisors, housing/homelessness staff, faith/cultural and community leaders, community pharmacists, primary care and social care workers, and occupational health providers. In order to deliver this important work, they are looking for an Engagement Lead to establish and build relationships with key organisations in Scotland, to raise awareness of gambling harms and help embed change at organisational level.

As Engagement Lead, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships stakeholders within your assigned region, identifying new opportunities, key organisations and individuals of interest, with the goal of building capacity within various and diverse organisations to reduce gambling harm in the groups they work with. You will deliver presentations and training to these organisations to build awareness of gambling harm and methods for screening and signposting to support, as necessary. You will collaborate with other Engagement Leads working directly for partner organisations and help to foster a 'one-team' approach to the programme's engagement work.

The ideal candidate will have experience building relationships and stakeholder management in the non-profit / charity / public sector, and will also have experience delivering presentations to varied audiences and facilitating training products digitally or in person. Excellent stakeholder engagement, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, supported by strong use of IT are necessary. Those with lived experience of gambling harms are encouraged to apply.

While this role is mainly remote with frequent regional travel, the ideal candidate will be expected to travel to the London Headquarters occasionally.
