Teaching and Learning Consultant - MIT
We are seeking to appoint a Teaching and Learning Consultant to join our successful and dynamic team t o start as soon as possible (ideally September) in consultation with the Headteacher but by October Half Term at the latest. Please be advised, appointment to this post can only be made if the current School agree to the secondment.
The post will involve contributing to the organisation and support of the authority’s Monitoring and Intervention work, under the direction of the Curriculum and Assessment Co-ordinator and also assisting schools in raising standards and school improvement through the provision of INSET, consultancy and educational materials in relation to all aspects of Teaching and Learning. In addition, the successful applicant will be able to demonstrate a specialism in an area of the Primary Curriculum.

Successful candidates will have excellent recent classroom experience, the ability to inspire and to be creative, possess effective organisational and administrative skills, a current driving licence and a car available for their full-time use as the role will involve travelling across Lancashire and beyond.
