Electrician Social Housing Manchester

We are working with a Manchester based Social Housing Association and looking for a customer focused Electrician to carry out all aspects of Electrical works in customers' homes and empty properties.

On offer is a recently increased basic salary, to reflect the cost of living increases, company van, benefits and the option to earn an extra 350-500 per week when on the call out rota.

Main areas of responsibility

• To provide a professional electrical service that delivers an excellent customer experience. Adhering to the current edition of 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, health and safety regulations and organisational policies and procedures.
• Repair/replace electrical fittings and diagnose and rectify electrical faults.
• Complete relevant certification to BS: 7671 to include EICR, Minor Works and Installation certificates.
• Undertake the following supplementary-skilled tasks (reviewed annually):

• Disconnect and reconnect emersion heaters, pipework to showers, pumps, and valves.
• Patch plastering.
• Remove and refit wall tiles around bathrooms and wet rooms.
• Remove and re-fix existing skirting boards, bath panels and timber framework.
• Painting.
• Remove and install vinyl floor coverings.
