Equans is looking for an Electrician to join our team at Torness Power Station, EH42 1QS on a Permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

What will you deliver?
Attends pre-job brief and asks questions to check understanding.
Reads and understands Work Order/Instructions/Method Statements.
Selects equipment for the job and checks that it is in good working order.
Selects appropriate materials for the job and ensures that it is in proper working order.
Reads and understands the wiring diagrams appropriate to the task.
Capable of installing cable, conduit, and tray.
Removes barriers/signs at the appropriate time.
Disposes of equipment in accordance with instructions and legislation.
Completes Work Order card indicating work completed.

Who are we looking for?
Recognised Apprenticeship/NVQ Qualification
ECS Health and Safety
18th Edition Electrical Installation Inspection and Testing to BS7671 or greater
Electrical experience in commercial and industrial installations.
Experience of working on Nuclear sites preferred but not essential
Lighting and small power
Testing and inspection
Panel modifications and builds
Cat 5 installations
Safe electrical isolation

This role includes a DS Basic check therefore ability to pass is essential.
