Job Description

We are a day nursery situated in Streatham, South West, London providing childcare for 61 children aged between 0 and 5 years in a homely and friendly environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and qualified childcare practitioner to work with a qualified team and provide a caring and educational environment for the children.

Experience of working in a similar role is essential. Candidate must have the ability to prepare and deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum and work with parents to promote the all-round development of the children in our care.

Candidates must have:

A childcare qualification of level 2 or above

A minimum of 1 year experience working with children in a day care setting or similar

A good understanding of EYFS.

A knowledge and understanding of child development.

A good knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.

Awareness and understanding of equal opportunities.

Hours: 24 to 40 hours per week, 3 to 5 days per week. Candidates should be able to work 8 hours per day (excluding lunch break) between the hours of 8am - 6pm. Please note that this is not a term time role only and candidates should be able to work all year round.

Successful candidates will be required to complete an enhanced DBS Disclosure and provide two references.
