Early Careers Advisor (ECA):
We have a large graduate and apprenticeship programmes that covers various disciplines and we aim to offer a fully supportive environment in which our early careers can flourish. The role of the Early Careers Advisor is pivotal in this and aims to support our early careers from a pastoral perspective, whilst working with the managers and training providers to ensure that their learning journey is on track vocationally, academically, and personally.
You will have a designated caseload of early careers who you will support throughout the duration of their programme by managing their performance, placement rotations and welfare. You will also work with line managers to ensure they understand the expectations of the relevant programmes and that they are involved in measuring and monitoring progress in conjunction with the relevant training provider (where applicable). In addition, you will be involved in the recruitment and selection process of new early careers, as well as offsite activities such as community work and the behavioural Development Programmes, as well as outreach events at schools.
