Registered Manager (Dual Home)
Based in Durham
40 hours working week/flexible working
Up to £55,000pa + £2500 bonus
- 40 hours a week with the expectation that these will be worked flexibly to meet the needs of the services you support.
- In additional each home will have a deputy manager in post not on roster.
- Salary: Up to £55,000 per year for the management of two, 2 bedded children's home.
- Bonus: £2500 based on Ofsted rating of Outstanding

We are working with a family-owned business on their search for a Registered Manager to be dual registered for two of their services which are all predominantly based in the Northwest.
They have a proven track record with OFSTED "outstanding" & "good" rated and now opening a brand new 2 bedded service based in Durham, with a second to open shortly after.
As such we are looking for an experienced Registered Manager, who can register with OFSTED to oversee both homes, which will follow an integrated, therapeutic approach.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Registered Manager to oversee two services, with a Deputy Manager in post for each home, overseeing the first home opening, then leading on the 2nd opening shortly after.
Your ability to lead, motivate and direct your team will stand you in good stead for this role. As will your ability to manage within statutory and legal requirements, in line with OFSTED and company legislation's.
Essentials
- QCF Level 3/4 Residential Childcare/Level 3 Diploma Children and Young People's Workforce Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People's Services in the children and young people's residential management pathway (either obtained or willing to work towards)
- Experience at Manager/Deputy level specifically within a residential home for children
- Within the last 5 years, have you worked for at least 2 years in a position relevant to the residential care of children?
