We have just the position for you!
Working for a reputable local authority, you will ensure that service users get too and from school promptly but safely. With the support of a passenger assistant- you will simply arrive in a morning at the depot to collect the vehicle, complete the pre-planned routes and return the vehicle back to the start point. This will then be done again in the late afternoon but in reverse of the morning.
This is a fantastic, family feeling role with areas to spend your breaks and meet with colleagues.
Job Details:
- This position is Monday to Friday.
- 25-30 hours per week.
- Split shifts.
- Morn: 06:30am until 09:30am.
- Aft: 14:30pm until 17:30pm.
- This is an ongoing position.
- This position is £10.90 per hour- increasing to over £11+ after 65 shifts.
For this position, you must have:
- A valid UK driving licence with D1 entitlement.
- NO DD, DR, or DI DRIVING OFFENSES.
- A desire to give something back to the community.
- A referenceable last 5 years of work.
- Eligibility for an advanced DBS check.
