About the role

The successful candidate will be required to provide a force resource with regard to the forensic recovery, analysis and presentation of digital evidence from devices including mobile telephones, tablet computers and other digital devices.

You will be required to ensure the continuity of all exhibits maintaining integrity throughout to prove or disprove the presence of criminal offences under investigation, give advice and guidance to investigating officers, compile findings of evidence reports and to present such evidence in a Court of Law.

Applicants should be aware that this role involves the occasional viewing of images containing the sexual abuse of children and other images of an extremely offensive and distressing nature.
