Responsibilities of the Credit Controller:
- Allocate cash to customer accounts and allocate to invoices
- Collect overdue customer accounts using telephone and email
- Reconcile customer accounts, deal with customer queries, and raise necessary credit notes
- Collaborate and action the debtor’s ledger with line manager and colleagues
- Be proactive in making changes to the method & processes for collection of debt
- Negotiate payment plans and setting up terms and conditions for customers
- Support other members of the finance team when required
About you as the Credit Controller:
- Must be immediately available or on a 1 week notice period
- Working in a fast-paced credit environment
- Good Excel and organisational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner
- Calm and confident manner
- Good team worker but also able to work independently
