ABOUT THE TEAM
The Iceland Group Design, Creative & POS Team is unique in the UK in that we operate as design agency, advertising agency and production company in one. Spanning functions normally found in-house such as POS allocation to those more often external, such as TV advertising production.
From price messaging in stores to our advertising, we strategise, concept, develop and deliver all digital and printed communications across all channels. We create our brand identities and develop all campaigns for our hero brands; Iceland and The Food Warehouse. In addition to our hero brands we regularly create and nurture new product and 3rd party brands across an exciting mix of territories.
The team of 40 is comprised of talented individuals across multiple disciplines including; graphic design, digital design, packaging design, artwork, photography, art direction, food styling, filming, editing, animation and project management. Our team ethos unites all functions and is ‘to create and deliver high quality, appropriate design and communications across all channels, conveying the business message in the most relevant way for our audience, in order to drive sales’. This ethos drives our effective mix of creativity, functionality and pragmatism.
We are proud of our positive and supportive culture which enables us to deliver a huge amount of content and punch way above our weight, but do so with a smile and the knowledge that the team has one another’s back. This is in part the result of a combination of characters bringing together their experience to create great work and sense of shared success. Testament to this culture is that our longest serving team member has been with the business for over 40 years, yet is the first to jump on a great new idea.
